Abstract
[SPA] Este artículo pretende demostrar la coherencia plástica entre la obra construida por Joaquín Vaquero Palacios y una subjetiva visión pictórica desarrollada influyendo y en sinergia con su arquitectura a través de diferentes contextos. La pintura constituyó una actividad fundamental en su vida, y su objetivo confesado de integrar las distintas disciplinas artísticas ha sido ampliamente difundido gracias al análisis de sus proyectos construidos complementados con sus esculturas y sus murales pictóricos. Una vez reconocido ese esfuerzo, la metodología de esta investigación se alejará de dicho enfoque para tratar de establecer comparaciones, por etapas coetáneas, entre su pintura y su arquitectura. El propósito es descubrir cómo aspectos genéricos de sus cuadros y murales –corporeidad, espacialidad y monumentalidad; o más concretos como color, forma y equilibrio– se convirtieron en valores metapictóricos que traspasaron lo bidimensional, reflejándose tanto en lo espacial como en lo ... [ENG] This article aims to demonstrate the plastic consistency in the work of Joaquin Vaquero Palacios and give a subjective, pictorial view that is developed, influencing and in synergy with architecture, in different contexts. Painting was a fundamental activity in his life, and he himself confessed that it was his aim to try to integrate the different artistic disciplines – this fact has been made known thanks to the analysis of his architecture as well as his sculptures and paintings.
