Abstract
The paper proposes a graphic study of the Albanian cultural heritage, with particular attention to the themes of conservation and the
consequent representation through the use of the line, as the main tool for the analysis of places. In particular, the research is part of a
wider field of investigation characterised by a cognitive analysis of the Balkan religious heritage aimed at documentation,
conservation and valorisation. This area is of considerable interest to architectural scholars because, as is well known, it is a rare
example of the coexistence of different religious cultures that have left clear and evident signs in the architecture of cities. Case study
of the research is the Ardenica Monastery in Albania, a place of worship of the Albanian Orthodox Church. The contribution shows
the results of the survey phases in order to graphically represent the acquired data by means of a digital information model. The
