%X [SPA]   Esta comunicación se centra en el papel que obtuvo el mundo vegetal en la ornamentación de la arquitectura del Modernismo en la ciudad
de Barcelona. Estudiamos la ornamentación vegetal aplicada en unas tipologías arquitectónicas: las farmacias, las arquitecturas del ocio
y las casas particulares. Nuestros objetivos son poner de relevancia la importancia que obtuvo el mundo vegetal en la ornamentación del
Modernismo y aportar un repertorio de motivos ornamentales de flores y plantas modernistas comunes. La metodología adoptada está
basada en la identificación a partir de la comparación entre la aplicación del motivo ornamental y el modelo natural. También tratamos
la formación de ornamentación de flores en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Barcelona y el simbolismo de los programas decorativos. Es una
investigación con un carácter interdisciplinar ya que se relaciona arquitectura, arte ornamental con botánica.
[ENG]  The main purpose of this communication is to survey the role that obtained the vegetable world in the ornamentation of the modernist architecture
in the city of Barcelona. We study the vegetal ornamentation used in architectural typologies: pharmacies, leisure time architectures and
particular houses. Our objectives are emphasising the importance that it obtained the vegetable world in the ornamentation of the Art Nouveau
and contribute one repertoire of ornamental motifs of modernists’ flowers and plants common. The methodology adopted is based on the identification
from the comparison between the application of the ornamental motif and the natural model. Also we deals the floral ornamentation
training provided by the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona and the symbolism of the decorative programs. It is a research with an interdisciplinary
character that interrelates architecture, ornamental art with botany.
