La ventana en la vivienda mediterránea moderna

Abstract

[Esp]A lo largo de la historia de la arquitectura, el hueco de la vivienda ha ido sufriendo variaciones, desarrollándose así diferentes formas y estilos. Es cierto que el hueco tiene entre sus funciones, la salubridad, la ventilación o proporcionar luz entre otras, pero se puede resaltar un objetivo invariable: introducir el paisaje en la vivienda y a su vez, crear mirada. Hoy en día es imposible definir una única manera de diseñar ventanas ya que su construcción esta condicionada por números factores. De cualquier modo, es fundamental tener en cuenta que proyectar un hueco es una de las partes principales de un proyecto. Es por esto que centraré la línea de investigación del presente trabajo en explorar y conocer todo lo referente a este elemento arquitectónico, así como su evolución a lo largo del tiempo, tomando como línea argumental ese invariable objetivo que comentaba al principio y que parece ser el punto de conexión entre la arquitectura y el paisaje que la rodea. Podría haber escogido múltiples viviendas y localizaciones, pero he decidido utilizar la vivienda moderna emplazada en la costa mediterránea por un motivo más sentimental que profesional: he crecido en esta área y su paisaje y arquitectura me resultan merecedores de ser estudiados con precisión. Entre la larga lista de autores que han estudiado el tema que nos atañe he decidido seleccionar aquellos que, bajo mi punto de vista, más han influido en la historia de la arquitectura en general, y el desarrollo de este elemento en particular [Eng]Throughout the history of architecture, the gap of the house has undergone variations, providing different shapes and styles. It is true that the hollow has as functions healthiness, ventilation or providing light among others, but an invariable goal can be highlighted among the rest: introducing the outdoor landscape into the house. Nowadays it’s impossible to define a single way to design windows, since their construction is conditioned by many factors. In any case, it is essential to bear in mind that projecting a hole is one of the main parts of a project. That is why I will focus this work on exploring everything related to this architectural element, as well as its evolution over time, taking as a plot line that invariable objective that I have already commented, which seems to be the connecting point between architecture and the surrounding landscape. I could have chosen multiple homes and locations, but I have decided to use the modern home located on the Mediterranean coast for a sentimental rather than a professional reason: I have grown up in this area, and I reckon its landscape and architecture deserve to be studied with precision. Among the long list of authors who have studied the subject that concerns us, I have decided to select those who have most influenced the history of architecture in general, and the development of this element in particular
