La habitación exterior en Broner. El exterior con vida de interio

Abstract

[Esp]El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad el análisis de las habitaciones exteriores en la arquitectura de Erwin Broner. Para el estudio, se ha elegido una de las viviendas más representativas del artista, su casa en Ibiza; la Casa Broner.En la Casa Broner, las "habitaciones exteriores" son las protagonistas; organizan el espacio, cumplen funciones de interior y exterior, y, colaboran en eso que denominamos “la buena vida”. Pero antes de llegar al análisis, se hace indispensable realizar un repaso a la historia y a los espacios interme-dios donde se producen estos exteriores con atributos de interior. ¿Qué es una habitación exterior? ¿son todos los espacios intermedios habitaciones exteriores? Una vuelta a los orígenes de los espacios intermedios, la forma de vivirlos durante siglos, y la influencia de la Arquitectura Moderna en ellos, nos acercan a la respuesta. Puesto que un estudio de los espacios intermedios sería extenso, este análisis se ha centrado en aquellas zonas domésticas en las que, por norma general, se crean habitaciones exteriores frecuentemente; patios, te-rrazas y porches. De igual modo, realizar una investigación de la habitación exterior en la vivienda unifamiliar es inabarcable para este trabajo, por lo que se han tomado como referencia algunos ejemplos de los grandes exponentes del Movimiento Moderno europeo y americano. [Eng]The purpose of this work is to analyze the exterior rooms in the architecture of Erwin Broner. For the studio, one of the most representative houses of the artist -his house in Ibiza- has been chosen; Broner House.At Broner House, the exterior rooms are the protagonists; organize space, perform the indoor and outdoor functions, and, they collaborate on what we call "the good life". But before reaching the analysis, it is essential to review the history and the intermediate spaces where this exterior occurs with interior attributes. What is an exterior room? Are all the intermediate spaces exterior rooms? A return to the origins of the intermediate spaces, the way of living them for centuries, and the influence of Modern Architecture on them, bring us closer to the answer. Since a study of intermediate spaces would be extensive, this analysis has focused on those where these places are generally formed; courtyards, terraces and porches. Similarly, conducting an investigation of the exterior rooms in the single-family house is inaffable for this work, so some examples of the great exponents of the European and American Modern Movement are taken as reference.
