Evaluación de la usabilidad de la plataforma Sakai en la Facultad de Economía y Empresa de Murcia

Abstract

[SPA] El imparable desarrollo de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación y su aceptación por la sociedad están calando en los hábitos de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la población universitaria, que cada vez apuesta con más fuerza por un sistema mixto de enseñanza donde se combina la formación presencial con la virtual (blended e-learning). Con diferencia, la forma más habitual de complementar esta formación cara a cara es mediante el uso de las distintas plataformas de Learning Management System junto con las distintas herramientas que ofrece. Aunque hay un buen número de trabajos que evalúan la calidad del servicio que se presta a los alumnos mediante este modelo de enseñanza, cabe esperar que existan diferentes percepciones dependiendo de la disciplina que se analice. Con este objetivo el presente estudio evalúa la utilidad de estas plataformas y sus herramientas en una Facultad de Economía y Empresa en la que se imparten los grados de Economía y Administración y Dirección de Empresas. By far, the most common way to complement face to face teaching is by using the different Learning Management System platforms along with the various tools provided in these platforms. Although there are many studies that evaluate the quality of the service provided to students through this learning model, it can be expected they have different perceptions depending on the discipline being analyzed. With this objective in mind, the present study evaluates the usefulness of these platforms and tools in a Faculty of Economics and Business in which the degrees of Economics and Business Administration are offered.
