%X This work is concerned with the study of the “Excitation
Zone” in tunnels. Ray launching with Uniform Theory of
Diffraction are used to simulate Non-Light of Sight
(NLOS) situations in several tunnels. Two methods are
used to calculate the distance call “Excitation Zone”, in
which the propagation parameters such as path loss, timedelay
and angular spread, behave in a different way.
