[ENG]Nowadays it results difficult to figure out our life without electric power. However, the way of obtaining it is not sustainable, and this is why it is necessary to move toward renewable energies that can provide us the energy that we need, without compromising the options of future generations. One of the great problems of the renewable energies is related with the impossibility of matching its production with the demand. To solve this inconvenience, we can use the so-called energy vectors (intermediate step between the generation of energy and its consumption). Hydrogen fuel cells are not presented as an independent form of energy, but they are included in the group of energy vector that are capable of storing the electrical current produced by renewable energy plants, and to allow them to fit their production to demand. The first aim of the present work has been to optimize the permeability and resistivity of the electrodes used in the cells of a hydrogen fuel, to attain the best performance in a fuel cell, as well as studying the key factors that affect the performance of a hydrogen/air fuel cell.
