AB - [SPA] En este artículo se presenta el importante patrimonio minero que tiene la Región de Murcia. La trascendencia que ha tenido esta actividad, especialmente en la Sierra de Cartagena-La Unión y en Mazarrón en los siglos XIX y XX, ha dejado unos espacios mineros que deben de ser objeto de una política patrimonial. Se has dado pasos importantes pero aún queda bastantes actuaciones para proteger y valorizar los vestigios que ha dejado esta actividad. [ENG] This paper presents the important mining heritage that is the region of Murcia. The importance that has had this business, especially in the Sierra de Cartagena-La Union and Mazarrón in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, has left some mining areas that should be the subject of a heritage policy. It has taken important steps but there is still enough action to protect and recover the remains that has left this activity.
