La financiación de las cajas de ahorro mediante cuotas participativas y participaciones preferentes

Abstract

[Esp]El sector bancario español ha sufrido grandes cambios dentrode nuestro sistema financierodurante los últimos años. Este trabajo se centra en las Cajas de Ahorros ya que estas instituciones de ahorro son las que más problemas de financiación y captación de recursos han tenido por no poder realizar ampliaciones de capital como consecuencia de tener una naturaleza jurídica diferente al resto de entidades. Por un lado,se revisaránlos problemas de captación de recursos propios y financiación ajena, así como los instrumentos de financiación que utilizaron para hacer frente a este problema y,por otro,se procederá al análisis del impacto que en la utilización de estos instrumentos de financiación tuvo la crisisde 2007 y los mecanismos de financiación que pueden utilizar las cajas de ahorros en la actualidad. [Eng]The Spanish banking sector has undergone major changes within our financial system in recent years. These changes have affected all credit institutions in general (banks, savings banks, credit cooperatives).This work focuses on savings banks because these institutions are the ones with more financial problems when raising funds,because they are not allowed to use the stock market for that purpose. On one hand, a general review will be undertaken on the problems of this type of institutions whenattracting own resources to deal with this problem. Onthe other hand, it will be analyzed the impact of the financial crises of 2007 on the use of this types of instruments and the financing options of savings banksnowadays.
