Para finalizar, se exponen las conclusiones del trabajo y referencias bibliográficas consultadas. this dissertation introduces young unemployed in Europe and in Spain as a "lost generation" due to the persistence of youth unemployment, which has worsened during the current crisis. It has reached a greater magnitude in certain countries (over 50% in Spain). Taking steps to reduce that figure can not be prolonged any longer. The evidence presented in this dissertation shows that we can find shortcomings in both, the educational system and in the labor market, which explains the importance of youth unemployment in Spain. Among the first one, we found an early school leaving and the mismatch between supply and demand for labor by education level, hindering the transition to youth employment and they affect negatively in their career. Among the second one, it highlights the insufficient effectiveness of employment policies carried out by governments. To alleviate the problem it must act jointly in both areas, education and employment in accordance with the adoption of reforms and/or measures, such as those are mentioned in this document. Also we discuss proposals undertaken in the European Union and possible initiatives proposed. In addition, we have conducted an interview with a small group of people (specifically, five boys and five girls) about topics covered in it. Finally, we present the conclusions of this work and bibliographical references.es_ES
