%X [SPA] El aula es el espacio físico/temporal tradicional que alberga procesos de Enseñanza/Aprendizaje. El panorama sociocultural que ofrecen hoy las Universidades europeas recomienda realizar una revisión de la configuración arquitectónica y funcional de estos lugares académicos. Una estrategia a tal fin partiría del umbral, entendido como un espacio adicional que articula el interior/exterior y que puede ser transformado en clave de innovación. Al proyectarse transformaciones innovadoras del aula mediante la metamorfosis formal y funcional del umbral, la acción formativa puede trascender a sus límites convencionales, impreg¬nando ámbitos externos y llevando el positivo impacto de la presencia de modalidades alternativas de Enseñanza/Aprendizaje hasta escalas de influencia progresiva, como la pieza arquitectónica, el campus o la ciudad. [ENG] The classroom is the physical & spatial traditional space, which hosts teaching & learning processes. The current European University scenario recommends a review of the architectural and functional configuration of these academic places. A sound strategy to achieve this goal could be based on the threshold, taken as an additional space that articulates interior/exterior, and it can be transformed under innovation. Projecting innovative transformations of formal and functional metamorphosis of the classroom threshold, the learning activities can transcend the traditional limits, impregnating external areas, and bringing the positive impact given by the presence of innovative teaching & learning modalities to scales of progressive influence, such as the architectural piece, the campus or the city.
