%X [SPA]Dada la creciente actividad humana no es infundada la necesidad que ha tenido la administración pública en la creación de leyes y normativas más restrictivas que protejan el medio ambiente del efecto de este crecimiento.
Es por esto que surge la norma ISO 14001:2008, (La norma actual es ISO 14001: 2004, se está preparando una nueva versión para 2015) un estándar cuya intención es asegurar que las empresas tengan un compromiso con el medio ambiente y cumplan con todas las normativas aplicables.
Este trabajo se basa en la implantación de la citada norma en una empresa de galvanizados por inmersión en caliente de hierros y aceros en un baño de zinc fundido. Empresa que ya cuenta con la certificación del Sistema de Gestión de la Calidad ISO 9001:2004 (ISO 9001:2008) y que ahora pretende demostrar su compromiso con el medio ambiente y su necesidad de contribuir activamente con su preservación, consecuentemente a esto la organización pretende conseguir una ventaja competitiva respecto de otros centros ubicados en las proximidades.
Por otro lado, la implantación de esta norma no sólo consigue mejorar la imagen de la empresa sino que puede dar lugar a un ahorro de costes y a una mejora de las relaciones con la Administración y entidades financieras asegurando el cumplimiento de la legislación ambiental.
Este Sistema será de aplicación a todo el personal de la organización y el mismo quedará responsable de su cumplimiento y mantenimiento, siendo el Responsable de la Gestión Ambiental el encargado de su implantación. [ENG]Due to the increased human activity, it is not unfounded the necessity that the public administration has had in laws creations and regulations more restricted which can protect the environment of the effect of this increase.
This is why the standard ISO 14001:2008 exists, a standard which objective is to make sure that firms has a compromise with the environment and accomplish with the required regulations.
This essay is based on the implantation of this standard in a galvanizing company based on hot dip immersion of steel and iron in a zinc bath. This organization is already certificated with the ISO 9001:2004 and now wants to show his compromise with the environment and his necessity of contribute actively with his preservation, consequently the organization are supposed to get a competitive advantage with other firms placed nearby.
In the other hand, the implantation of this standard not only has the target of the improvement of the organization look, it is also useful to get cost savings and better relations with the government and financial organizations making sure that the environmental legislation is respected.
This management system will be followed by all the people in the organization and that people will be responsible of the application and maintenance, being the Responsible of the Environmental Management System the person in charge of the total implementation.
