%X [ESP] Los profundos cambios sociales, políticos, estéticos y artísticos que transforman la Europa de principios
del siglo XX modificarán radicalmente la percepción del espacio escénico, hasta entonces identificado con la tradición del teatro burgués. Se estudia el proceso que culminará con la desaparición de la caja escénica a través del análisis de tres obras fundamentales del teatro ruso de vanguardia: la ópera cubofuturista ‘Victoria sobre el sol’ que marca el inicio de la abstracción en los decorados, la farsa ‘El cornudo magnánimo’ donde la composición dinámica se enfoca hacia los elementos escenográficos,
y por último ‘La muerte de Talkerin’ donde el movimiento se hace protagonista dentro de
la propia escena. La influencia de estos trabajos es reconocible hasta nuestros días, lo que muestra su vigencia un siglo después de ser proyectados. [ENG] Deep social, political, aesthetic and artistic changes that transform the Europe of the beginning
of twentieth century will radically modify the perception of the stage, till that moment identified with the tradition of bourgeois theater. We will follow the process that will end with the disappearance
of the box set through the analysis of three basic works from Russian avant-garde theatre:
the cubofuturist opera ‘Victory over the sun’ that shows the way to abstraction in set designs, the play ‘The Magnanimous Cuckold’ that works the idea of dynamic composition focused on stage elements and last ‘Tarelkin´s death’ where movement becomes the most important part of the
stage. These works influence can be recognised nowadays, what shows its validity one century after being projected.
