Infraestructuras habitadas: desplazamientos agrícolas e industriales en la arquitectura de Lacaton y Vassal

Abstract

[SPA] Lacaton y Vassal plantean un crecimiento diferente de las periferias, entornos agrícolas e industriales que rodean a las ciudades. Proponen atender a lo ya existente, valorando sus posibilidades de reutilización o transformación y plantean un desplazamiento entre la arquitectura y elementos del paisaje industrial encontrado, de tal forma que la ciudad vaya creciendo sin olvidar estratos que dieron forma al lugar con anterioridad, creando así un paisaje nuevo en continuidad con el anterior. [ENG] Lacaton & Vassal set a different intention for the growing of the peripheries, and the expansion of the agricultural and industrial environments that surround our cities. By addressing to the existing, they propose to enhance its possibilities of reusing or conversion, resulting in a displacement between architecture and the elements of the industrial landscape, in such a way that the city is growing without forgetting the stratas that shaped the place before, creating a new landscape in continuity with the previous one.
