AB - Durante el desarrollo de este trabajo vamos a exponer la importancia de las Canteras
Históricas de Cartagena, para de ese modo comprender para y por qué surge la
necesidad de convertir el yacimiento en un producto turístico en sí mismo.
Trataremos dos vías diferentes para la puesta en valor de este Bien de Interés
Cultural. Por un lado, presentaremos la creación de una ruta que permita conocer en
profundidad todos los aspectos que caracterizan la cantera, y que al mismo tiempo le
dan el carácter de paisaje cultural. Mientras que, por otro lado, serán las propias
canteras el núcleo y punto exacto de su atractivo, ya que desarrollaremos un festival
de cine con proyección en la propia piedra de la cantera, en uno de sus frentes.
In this work we are going to explain the importance of the historic quarry at Cartagena,
so it is understandable the need to change the quarry into a valuable touristic product.
We will go trough two deferent ways of enhancing this Asset of Cultural Interest. First,
we will introduce you in a route that will allow a deeper knowledge of the characteristics
that gives the quarry the right to be considered as a cultural landscape. On the other
hand, we will run a movie festival in which the quarry will become the main starring
being the screen (on one of the walls) on which the movies will be projected.
