AB - [ESP]Para el desarrollo adecuado de la Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, y para
conseguir una adecuada calidad en los distintos servicios que le corresponde prestar a la Sociedad, como son las enseñanza superior, la investigación y el desarrollo tecnológico, y la transferencia de ciencia y tecnología a la sociedad en general y a los distintos sectores de actividad económica en particular, es necesario que esta Universidad se dote de una
adecuada plantilla de profesorado.Consideramos que un objetivo necesario del vicerrectorado de profesorado es la informatización de la gestión: poder proporcionar el mayor número de datos para la toma de decisiones al menor coste y sin duplicar esfuerzos.Antes de realizar cualquier obra de ingeniería es necesario ver las herramientas de que se dispone y el provecho que se puede obtener de las mismas. En nuestro caso particular veremos qué herramientas de software existen en la universidad y qué datos manejan con
el fin de saber si resuelven el problema que supone la gestión del vicerrectorado de
profesorado de la UPCT expuesta en el anterior capítulo o si pueden ser de utilidad a la hora de proporcionar información que contribuya al mismo fin.
La UPCT está utilizando actualmente las siguientes aplicaciones o módulos (desarrolladas por OCU) para cubrir diferentes áreas de la gestión universitaria:

achieve an adequate quality of different services that will provide the 
Society, including higher education, research and technological development, and 
science and technology transfer to society in general and the various sectors 
economic activity in particular, that the University is endowed with a 
appropriate template teacher university.We consider a necessary goal of vice teacher is the computerization of management: to provide more data for decision making at lower cost and without duplicating efforts.Before to do any engineering work needed view the tools that are available and the benefits that can be obtained from them. In our particular case we will see what software tools exist in the university and how to handle data to resolve whether the problem of managing vice.PUST the teacher described in the previous chapter, or if they can be useful in providing information that contributes to the same end. 
The PUST is currently using the following applications or modules (developed by OCU) to cover different areas of university management:
