dc.description.abstract[ESP] Alemania es la economía más grande de la UE - 28, en términos de PIB, y una de las que tiene mayor PIB per cápita, asimismo cuenta con la menor tasa de desempleo, factores que son muy importantes para explicar el flujo turístico de los alemanes. Los viajes de los turistas alemanes han mantenido una tendencia creciente en los últimos años, convirtiendo al país en uno de los principales emisores de turismo. Este trabajo fin de máster tiene como objetivo conocer las características del turista alemán en el ámbito de la Unión Europea y España utilizando para ello bases de datos elaboradas por fuentes oficiales como son Eurostat, para Europa, y Turespaña e INE, para España. Dentro de los principales resultados obtenidos destaca el hecho de que en el mar co de los países de la UE - 28, los alemanes son los que más viajes realizan estando entre sus destinos principales Austria, España e Italia. Además, dentro de España eligen, principalmente, los destinos turísticos ubicados en la costa. La organización del v iaje la suelen realizar por cuenta propia, el medio de transporte utilizado destaca el avión y el coche, y se alojan principalmente en hoteles. La edad de los turistas suele ser de 45 a 65 años, prefieren permanecen de 4 a 7 noches en el lugar de destino , aunque en algunos meses del año (julio y agosto) la estancia suele ser de al menos 8 noches . Asimismo el gasto medio diario por persona de alemanes que visitaron España fue 993 euros en el año 2016, mientras que el gasto medio diario por viaje de los alema nes en la UE - 28 fue de 840 euros para el mismo año, siendo mayor en España. [ENG] Germany is the largest economy of the EU - 28, in terms of GDP, and one of those with the highest GDP per capita, also it has the lowest unemployment rate, factors that are very important to explain the tourist flow of the Germans. The trips of German tourists have maintained a growing trend in recent years, making the country one of the main sources of tourism. Thi s master's thesis aims to know the characteristics of German tourists in the European Union and Spain using databases made by official sources such as Eurostat, for Europe, and Turespaña and INE, for Spain. Among the main results obtained highlights the fa ct that in the framework of the countries of the EU - 28, Germans are the ones that make the most trips being between their main destinations Austria, Spain and Italy.
