El jardín de la máquina. La bio-lógica y la tecno-lógica de Richard Neutra y Miguel Fisac

Abstract

[ESP] Más allá del paradigma moderno de la ‘machine à habiter’, la vivienda debe reunir no sólo las condiciones técnicas inherentes en la arquitectura sino que debe proporcionar al hombre un ‘environment’ donde vivir. Es, en sí, un modo de vida. A través del estudio de la Casa Perkins (1955) de Richard Neutra y de la casa propia de Miguel Fisac en el Cerro del Aire (1956), se indaga en los conceptos de la tecno-lógica y la bio-lógica en la arquitectura de estas viviendas y sus consecuencias en la relación de la arquitectura con el entorno y del hombre con la naturaleza. [ENG] Beyond the machine à habiter paradigm of the modern movement, the house must meet not only the technical conditions inherent in architecture but should also provide man with an environment where living is, itself, a way of life. Through the study of the Perkins House (1955) by Richard Neutra and Miguel Fisac’s own House in El Cerro del Aire (1956), this work explores the concepts of techno-logical and bio-logical in the architectures of these homes and their impact on the relationship between architecture and the environment and between man and nature.
