dc.description.abstract | This work deals with pulse compression techniques. These techniques are often used in radar systems. The study is focused on pulse compression using Frequency Modulation techniques. In this work, we have reviewed the important concepts and tested them carrying out numerical simulations via Matlab. The main techniques investigated are pulse compression using CHIRP pulses, mismatched filtering and pulse compression using other FM laws. We have studied the limitations and the benefits of these techniques. Additionally, a novel approach is presented to correct undesired effects due to moving targets. | es_ES |
