[ENG] Antonio Bonet, in the studio of Le Corbusier, develops with Roberto Matta drawings of the Maison Jaoul. These
collages we can see the cover of the Maison Jaoul is determined by a combination in sequence of truncated vaults. Le Corbusier supports the incorporation of Surrealist ideas to functionalist architecture. In Le Corbusier, we also see in his drawings, heavy use of the vaults, which leads to his trip to Spain in 1928. In the travel cards from Barcelona, at the C11, in a visit to the schools of Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, we discover how Le Corbusier draws
enthusiastically and expressively the volume of the schools, topped by a sequence of truncated vaults alternate. Is closed in this way the searching the source of this type of roof.
