Arquitectura en la obra de Julio Verne

Abstract

[SPA] Este Trabajo de Investigación sobre Arquitectura en la obra de Julio Verne, es el fruto de una larga trayectoria personal hacia el estudio y la búsqueda de un nuevo campo que enriquezca y potencie el futuro de nuestra disciplina. Un camino que comienza durante mi experiencia como estudiante en la Escuela de Arquitectura, continuado con mi trabajo profesional, reflejándose en alguno de mis proyectos; denominados en mi página Web, íntimos; como por ejemplo; La Casa Champiñón, inspirada en la Arquitectura árbol; La Universidad bajo tierra, como Arquitectura subterránea, ó La Escuela flotante, como ciudad sobre el agua; los cuales por su carácter inédito e investigador, hemos incluido como anexo, en esta Tesis Doctoral. Esta línea general de trabajo, se ha materializado a través del estudio, comprensión y valoración arquitectónica de la obra literaria de Julio Verne, a través de su literatura rebosante de imaginación, de ciencia, de respeto por la naturaleza, de adaptación al medio, sostenible y razonable; capaz de trasladar al lector hacia una sensibilidad abierta, sutil; donde todo puede ser; postulados éstos inherentes en nuestra Arquitectura. Se establece el paralelismo entre la literatura verniana y nuestra Arquitectura; definiendo los principios epistemológicos tangenciales en ambas disciplinas, como elementos inspiradores del proyecto arquitectónico, así se citan: Imaginación, como fuente de inspiración creativa. Ciencia, como positivismo que valida la creación artística. Naturaleza, como hecho arquitectónico existente. Conquista del territorio, como inquietud por lo desconocido. Homeostasis, como adaptación al medio exterior. La casa verniana surge inspirada en la estética maquinista, donde el espacio habitable se perfila como voluntad arquitectónica frente al contexto y la necesidad del hombre. Dependiendo de las características de habitabilidad y para cada entorno, Verne crea tipologías arquitectónicas diferentes, donde el espacio arquitectónico surge como respuesta a una función precisa; con propuestas, que dos siglos después son Arquitectura de vanguardia.

[ENG] This Research on Architecture in the works of Jules Verne, is the fruit of a long career in the study and the search for a new field that will enrich and enhance the future of our discipline. A road that starts during my experience as a student in the School of Architecture, continued with my professional work, seen in some of my projects on my website called intimate, such as The Mushroom House, inspired by the tree architecture; University below ground, as subterranean Architecture, or floating School, as a city on the water, which by its unknown and researcher nature, we have included as an appendix in this Doctoral Thesis. This general line of work has been achieved through study, understanding and appreciation of the architectural literature of Jules Verne, through its literature overflows of imagination, science, respect for nature, adaptation to the environment, sustainable and reasonable, able to move the reader into an subtle open sensitivity, where everything can be, their inherent assumptions in our architecture. Establishing a parallel between the Jules Verne literature and our architecture, defining the tangible epistemological principles in both disciplines, as elements of architectural design inspiration, quotes: Imagination, as a source of creative inspiration. Science as positively that validates design. Nature, as existing architectural fact. Conquest of territory, concerns the unknown. Homeostasis, such as adaptation to external environment. The Jules Verne house is inspired in aesthetics driver, where the living space will be seen as opposed to architectural context and the need of man. Depending on the characteristics of each environment and livability, Verne creates different types of architecture, where architectural space arises in response to a precise function, with proposals, which, two centuries later, are avant-garde architecture. On the other hand, the Jules Verne city proposes through its Urban Development, a social symbol, shaped as a landmark for the artistic society. This unknown form of understanding the Verne novel, is the starting point for the architectural and Urbanism parameters governing his literature from a global concept, noting his unquestionable link with the Architecture and Urbanism, as a model for the architectural future development, the result of which lead us to the completion of this Doctoral Thesis.
