%X [SPA] El artículo que se presenta a continuación se centra en el proyecto para el concurso de la Ciudad Deportiva de Kuwait celebrado en 1968, para el que fueron invitados cuatro de los arquitectos e ingenieros estructuralistas más relevantes del siglo XX: Félix Candela, Kenzo Tange en colaboración con Frei Otto, Pier Luigi Nervi y la asociación formada por Wilson, Morris, Grain y Anderson, autores del Astrodome de Houston en Texas, la cúpula más grande construida hasta el momento. En el artículo se incluyen análisis y reconstituciones gráficas inéditas realizadas por los autores, así como documentos originales presentados al concurso. [ENG] The present paper focuses on the project for the Kuwait Sports Center in 1968. Four of the most important architects and structural designers of the twentieth century were invited to the contest: Félix Candela, Kenzo Tange in collaboration with Frei Otto, Pier Luigi Nervi and the association formed by Wilson, Morris, Grain and Anderson, authors of the Astrodome in Houston Texas, the largest dome ever built. The article includes unpublished graphic analysis and reconstructions made by the authors, as well as original documents submitted to the competition.
